Frimley Park Hospital is the first NHS medical institution to launch a 'Recycle Zone'; a collaborative project giving the opportunity to recycle a variety of materials.
The collaborative project between the hospital, Coca-Cola Enterprises, WRAP and Surrey County Council allows staff, visitors and patients to recycle plastic bottles, cans and paper within Frimley Park Hospital.
The Recycle Zone comprises 72 Envirobins using three of the different sizes within the Envirobin family to make the best use of space and waste stream volume.
55 litre Mini Envirobin, Envirobin 100 and 140 litre Maxi Envirobin were selected for use throughout the hospital.
