New Envirobins for Mixed Recycling in the office

LEAFIELD Environmental
(Formally known as Linpac Environmental) has launched three new indoor recycling bins to meet demand for collecting mixed recyclable waste in offices.
Envirobin Mini, Midi and
Envirobin 100 are now available with the distinctive ‘propeller’ style apertures that combine a hole and slot, designed for mixed recyclables.
The move is in direct response to the development of a new generation of Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs) that are now able to separate mixed waste streams. This helps reduce the need for lots of different recycling collection bins around the office, freeing up space and reducing cost.
Commenting on the launch, General Manager Paul Black said "The trend for collecting mixed recyclables started within the external market late last year and it is now coming into the office sector. We believe that it will reduce the number of recycling bins that are required. Depending on the situation locally, some customers may only require this new ‘propeller aperture’ Envirobin and the new ‘lift lid’ version which is ideal for landfill or general waste. Of course with Envirobin, existing customers can easily upgrade their apertures to the new style without having to totally replace the bin."
