LEAFIELD Envirobins to feature on TV

Envirobin internal recycling bins from LEAFIELD Environmental (Formally known as Linpac Environmental) will feature in a TV program to be aired on the new NHS ONLINE TV channel at the end of September. The documentary titled ‘Solutions for a Sustainable Health Environment’ will be screened on Thursday 30th September at 7.30 pm and be repeated on Sunday 3rd October at 6 pm.

Presented by Georgina Burnett and including an interview with Dr David Pencheon, Director of the NHS Sustainable Unit, the program highlights key areas where products and materials used within the NHS that can be reduced, reused and recycled.

A section within the program shows Envirobin recycling bins being manufactured by LEAFIELD in Corsham, Wiltshire. LEAFIELD General Manager Paul Black, discusses the key features that make Envirobins suitable for use as part of a coordinated program within hospitals to collect a wide variety of recyclable material including items like newspapers, plastic bottles and aluminium cans but also other items such as batteries, CD’s and spectacles.
